Welcome and Rules

Welcome to English Coffee © a Community Forum geared towards learners, educators, tutors, workers, and everyone!!!!

Some people have a notion that learning the English language, or any language for that matter, is merely focused on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and the like, as what we normally experience in formal class settings. However, in reality, this is not enough because no language is limited to this. Language is so dynamic that learners must be exposed to its usage in the real world, i.e. language used in books, magazines, conversations, discussions, games, music, movies, or the everyday tidbits of activities each one of us engage in (talking about ourselves, our likes and dislikes, experiences at work or in school, etc.). This refers to the 'language at work', which is the communicative approach in language learning.

English Coffee © tries to cover all aspects of the English language and its usage in our daily life.

Join us, enjoy and have fun!
